Clean and comfortable place in Nuevo Chimbote.
Clean, secure parking, nice staff. Cesár was especially helpful in helping us order food for delivery when their restaurant was closed Sunday evening.
Once again (third time in Peru) we were given a smaller room than what we paid for.

What was the highlight of Hotel Maresta Lodge
You won't rush back.
The hotel is fairly new, oddly located in an industrial/walled area, probably sited for business travellers. Staff were all very helpful. The room was large, bed comfortable. The restaurant looked like a cafeteria, but food and service were good.
The whole place had no character, soulless, businesslike, I suppose. I could not get the TV to work; there were no instructions. The room, though large and modern, was oddly designed - lights and light switches were all in the wrong places, powerpoints in short supply. A poor work desk, and no luggage rack, so attempting to be businesslike, but unpack your suitcase on the floor. Facade is already peeling off the front desk at reception. As a tourist destination, poor; for the business traveller, disappointing. Just as well I only stayed one night, in transit.

Very clean building, good A/C only in the rooms. Beutifull poo, butl needs maintenance,
Never received an invoice, I requested several times, many problems to cancel one day of my reservation due to medical issues. After a week, not invoice or refund sent.
